Responsibilities
PR with substance: You draft press releases, pitch stories to the right outlets, and manage concrete media requests – from trade show communications to strategic placements. Storytelling with depth: You uncover stories within our projects – from the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg to the Four Tower in Frankfurt, or the lighting concept at Notre-Dame de Paris – and turn them into compelling narratives in collaboration with our PR agency. Media relations & stakeholder communication: You build a strong internal and external network – from in-house experts to journalists, editors, and Tier 1 media contacts. Monitoring & impact analysis: You work with tools like Meltwater and Argus to track media performance, evaluate impact, and continuously improve our communications based on data. Making light visible through language: You translate complex, technical topics into clear, engaging messages – in both German and English, for professionals and media experts alike.
Skills & Experience
Relevant education: A degree in Communications, PR, Media Studies, Journalism, or a comparable field. Professional experience in PR or journalism: With a focus on B2B communications – ideally paired with an active network in the media landscape. A sense for timing and relevance: You understand how journalists think and how to shape stories that resonate across architecture, technology, and lighting design. Confident, effective communication: You write and speak with clarity and conviction – internally and externally, in both German and English. Tool proficiency: You’re experienced with monitoring and analytics tools like Meltwater, Argus, or similar platforms. Proactive mindset & collaborative spirit: You take initiative, work cross-functionally, and contribute to building a sustainable, strategic communication approach.
