Are you a hands-on Project Manager with strong technical expertise and a passion for delivering high‑quality on-site lighting installations? In this role, you will manage on-site lighting projects end-to-end, ensuring installations are delivered safely, on time, and in full compliance with technical specifications and quality standards. You will act as the key link between customers, construction sites, subcontractors, and internal teams—playing a central role in the successful execution of complex lighting projects.
Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end execution of on-site relamping and electrical installation projects , from site audit to final handover. Review tender documentation, conduct site visits and technical audits, and support offer development in collaboration with technical and sales teams. Plan, coordinate, and monitor site activities , schedules, and resources to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. Coordinate subcontractors (electrical installers), suppliers , and internal stakeholders throughout project execution. Supervise the correct installation of lighting systems according to technical drawings, specifications, and applicable standards. Act as the main point of contact for customers, site managers, designers (lighting, electrical, architectural), and internal teams. Work closely with the administrative office to support contract drafting and ensure proper preparation and compliance of safety and site documentation. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and construction site regulations at all times. Manage on-site changes , variations, and technical issues, proposing effective solutions to minimize impact on costs and timelines. Oversee material checks, installation quality, and work progress; coordinate testing, commissioning, aiming, and final handover of lighting systems, including collection of site reports and as-built documentation.
Skills & Experience
You have a technical diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field. You have between three and five years of experience as a Project Manager, Site Manager, or similar role in the lighting, electrical, or contracting sector. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and lighting layouts. You have experience with PM tools and with SAP, Excel, SharePoint, etc. You have a solid knowledge of construction site operations and health & safety regulations. You can prove your ability to lead on-site activities with a hands-on, practical, and solution-oriented approach. You show strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities , deadlines, and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. You demonstrate clear and effective communication skills , with the ability to liaise confidently with customers, contractors, and internal teams. You have a results-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Willingness to travel and work on construction sites as required. Basic to good command of Italian and English, both spoken and written. We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all the requirements.
