We are seeking a Solution Sales & Technical Support Manager to work in our Sydney offices. From there you will utilise your extensive technical expertise and experience to promote our solutions highlighting the key differentiators and solution benefits. Responsibilities You will work with regional sales managers to lead the value proposition and sale to new customers. You provide technical support as needed to resolve field issues and to guide the sales team and customers to the product selection that best meets the application objectives. You can assist in diagnosing technical issues. You own the regional future planning and forecasting for System and Control Solutions. Assist the Managing Director in attaining revenue goals, including the development of tactical and strategic plans to create and close product/service opportunities. Support and help manage relationships with OEM partners, contractors, consultants, lighting designers, engineers and specifiers. You will provide productive feedback to product and marketing teams Generating business opportunities and selling products by identifying prospects, establishing contact, and consultatively recommending solutions. Skills & Experience A technical understanding of the OEM lighting market is very beneficial, with a very good grasp of controls (wired & wireless) and appropriate applications from a lighting and BMS perspective. Relevant technical education in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or similar. Experience of working closely with M&E Consultants to specify products. Strong understanding of digital capabilities and the value of data in the built environment. A very good communicator who is equally at home addressing engineers or business leaders and senior stakeholders.
