As a Testing & Release Engineer, you play a key role in the development and validation of our advanced lighting control systems. Your mission? Ensuring that our products work seamlessly from a user’s perspective before they hit the market. You design tailored test specifications, work on automation solutions, and collaborate closely with a dedicated testing team. Together, you make sure every system meets the highest standards. Responsibilities
Development of test specifications and test cases : Create tailored test plans to validate lighting control solutions and evaluate them from different user roles. Execution of validation tests : Test a wide range of control systems – from standard user workflows to more complex, specialized applications. Error documentation and reporting : Carry out tests with precision, document findings and improvement suggestions, and present them to the project team. Analysis of complex product issues : Work closely with the development team to investigate and resolve product defects. Setup and maintenance of test environments : Plan new testing environments and ensure their upkeep for future projects. Support for the service team : Provide technical assistance for pilot installations on site. Process and strategy improvement : Contribute new ideas to continuously enhance quality, efficiency, and user focus.
Skills & Experience
Technical education in electrical engineering, electronics (apprenticeship, technical college, university of applied sciences, or university) and initial experience in testing. Experience in coordinating or contributing to technical projects is an advantage. Strong command of German and English, both written and spoken, enabling you to work effectively in an international environment. Solution-oriented mindset with a proactive and collaborative way of working. Solid technical understanding and the ability to adopt different user perspectives. Willingness to travel occasionally and enjoy working in an intercultural environment.
