Technical Lead & Architect (m/f/d) Technical Lead & Architect (m/f/d) Porto, Portugal SpotLIGHT of the job You will join our team as a Technical Lead & Architect for our Digital Customer Processes Team within Corporate IT, an international group of backend, frontend, and integration specialists responsible for websites, e-commerce platforms, and specialized web applications. You will design, implement, and oversee the development & operation of a headless website and e-commerce platform. As a key technical leader, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Responsibilities Architectural Design & Planning Define and design the overall architecture for the e-commerce platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and system designs. Ensure seamless integration between the web frontend and headless systems via a central service layer (CMS, Commerce, Identity Provider, Search) Technical Leadership Lead a team of developers in implementing the platform using best practices.  Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines. Provide mentorship to team members on technical challenges Coordinate the delivery of increments provided by multiple teams Collaboration & Stakeholder Management  Work closely with product owners, content managers, and business analysts in an agile team Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Architect in e-commerce projects Proven experience in Java based microservice architectures. SAP Commerce Cloud experience is a plus. Strong understanding of integration patterns and cloud based DevOps practices Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization. Knowledge of Splunk, Dynatrace, NewRelic or similar is beneficial Agile Delivery in a Product Based Organization (Product being the Digital Solution) You are fluent in English.
